The elegant bathrooms have floor to ceiling richly figured marble slabs and opulent placement of colors. The furnishings are carefully chosen for the home with amazing hues and fabrics.
This Upper West Side gut-renovation was transformed to a light-filled modern home. We maximized the available light and created a brightness of our own with fresh white walls, stunning light wood floors and gorgeous lighting. The kitchen is opened to the living room, dining room and entry. Floor to ceiling polished white wood cabinets and slabs of glass counter-tops in the kitchen reflect light into the rooms. The living room entrance is framed by modern built-in bookshelves and accented with beautifully designed clear finished wood and LED suspended light fixtures.

The goals of this renovation are to open up the living area of the apartment and create a fluid space between the two apartments. The gorgeous kitchen faces the mid-century modern dining room and living room. The combination of the two apartments was tricky and it was important to establish a creative way to bring privacy to the Master bedroom and hidden office space beyond. The stunning floor-to-ceiling oak feature wall provides both hidden storage, a bar, as well as concealing the door to the Master suite and work area beyond. The rich waxed oak wood of the kitchen fits in perfectly with the feature wall and warm palette of the apartment finishes. The apartment is designed and furnished in mid-century modern combined with simple contemporary pieces. The family has a beautiful art collection and special niches were created throughout the apartment to highlight these pieces. The back hallway leads to the private bedrooms and bathrooms of the couple’s three daughters.
