This beautiful apartment is in the historic neighborhood of Gramercy Park, New York City. It is a combination of three apartments, each one with a private terrace. Color, light, and warm aesthetic were the most significant inspirations for this apartment renovation.
The entry hall becomes the family’s mudroom. Textures of oak fluted detailing, wall panels of colored cork and a magnetic board for the children’s art all work together to create a wonderful apartment entrance for this family of four.
The primary bedroom suite starts with a stunning walk-in closet. More than just a closet, it is an amazing room of custom millwork. The bedroom is beautifully designed with colors, fabrics, and details to create a serene quality to the bedroom. The outdoor balcony has been redesigned with teak wood slat walls and floors for future plants, lighting and furniture. A secret wall can be opened for a private desk and shelving unit. The doors slide and pocket back to reveal this custom oak veneer millwork office space.
The most wonderful part of the primary bathroom is its bathroom. Textures of marbles, tiles and wood come together perfectly. Accents of black and greys combine for a subdued yet vibrant renovation.
The bedroom for the two boys is the sweetest. Walls of color and beautiful murals are a beautiful backdrop to the custom millwork, furnishings, lighting and happy children’s accents.

Corrugated glass and brass doors open to a new residence lounge. The solid brick exterior wall was demolished to install new storefront full height glass doors leading to a new roof terrace.
A new kitchen and bar area were added for additional comforts.

This West End Avenue Renovation in New York City preserves all the wonderful details of its pre-war history. Beamed ceilings, paneled doors, brass fixtures and wood herringbone floors are refurbished and add to the beauty of the 1920s construction.
Color was used in wonderful ways to accent the personality of the clients. The backdrop of the original architecture was an amazing canvas for wallpaper, art and bright paints.
The kitchen has on old-world feel accented by the palette, beautiful herringbone floors and a lovely windowed banquette seat and cafe table.
The bathrooms were beautifully planned simply yet with rich depth in the chosen marbles for the floor and wall tiles and the antique-like fixtures.

Located in Wilmington, Delaware, this historic Federal style home is renovated for a young family of five. The untouched attic is converted into a playroom and child’s bedroom with an additional bright and colorful bathroom. The Master Suite is renovated with a built-in desk, window seat, custom woodwork and a beautiful new bathroom. On the first floor, an old butler’s pantry is converted into a mudroom for kid’s coats, shoes and umbrella’s as well as a large magnetic marker board to write notes and to display their current art projects.

This vibrant vertical combination features a stunning staircase with bright lacquer panels leading to light-filled living spaces with a wrap around terrace. A guest room, full bath, living area, built-in work space and kitchen all have access to the apartment’s amazing outdoor patio and city views. The client’s love of color and modern aesthetic gave us a great opportunity to create bold statements with a clean design.
