Gramercy Park
This beautiful apartment is in the historic neighborhood of Gramercy Park, New York City. It is a combination of three apartments, each one with a private terrace. Color, light, and warm aesthetic were the most significant inspirations for this apartment renovation.
The entry hall becomes the family’s mudroom. Textures of oak fluted detailing, wall panels of colored cork and a magnetic board for the children’s art all work together to create a wonderful apartment entrance for this family of four.
The primary bedroom suite starts with a stunning walk-in closet. More than just a closet, it is an amazing room of custom millwork. The bedroom is beautifully designed with colors, fabrics, and details to create a serene quality to the bedroom. The outdoor balcony has been redesigned with teak wood slat walls and floors for future plants, lighting and furniture. A secret wall can be opened for a private desk and shelving unit. The doors slide and pocket back to reveal this custom oak veneer millwork office space.
The most wonderful part of the primary bathroom is its bathroom. Textures of marbles, tiles and wood come together perfectly. Accents of black and greys combine for a subdued yet vibrant renovation.
The bedroom for the two boys is the sweetest. Walls of color and beautiful murals are a beautiful backdrop to the custom millwork, furnishings, lighting and happy children’s accents.
